Install mTLS Client Certificate on Different OS
Installing the mTLS certificate on the following operating systems.
- Mac OS
- Windows
- Linux
Mac OS
Follow the step-by-step instructions for installing your certificate on Mac using Google Chrome.
- Download the certificate provided by your LogicHub administrator.
- Double-click on the certificate from your downloads; click Add and copy the generated password for later use in the LogicHub application.
Login to the LogicHub application and enable the mTLS. See How to Enable mTLS.
Windows
Follow the step-by-step instructions for installing your certificate on Windows using Google Chrome.
- Open Google Chrome. Click on Settings in the menu.
- Click Advanced Settings > Manage Certificates.
- Click Import to start the Certificate Import Wizard.
- Click Next.
- Click Browse to your downloaded certificate PFX file and click Next.
Note
When browsing your PFX file ensure the file type is changed to Personal Information Exchange to find your file.
- Enter the password you entered when you downloaded the certificate. We recommend you enable the second and fourth options listed under Import options and click Next.
- Choose the option Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate and click Next and Finish.
The certificate is successfully installed and can be used for network or secure client authentication.
Linux
Follow the step-by-step instructions for installing your certificate on Ubuntu using Google Chrome.
- Open Google Chrome. Click on Settings in the menu.
- Click Advanced Settings > Manage Certificates.
- Click Import to start the Certificate Import Wizard.
- Choose downloaded certificate PFX file.
Note
When browsing your PFX file ensure the file type is changed to 'All Files' to find your file.
- Enter the password you entered when you downloaded the certificate and click OK.
The certificate is successfully installed.
Note
After successfully installing the certificate, log in to the LogicHub application, and when you see a Select a certificate pop-up window, select Logichub-Client and click OK.
Delete LogicHub Client Certificate on Different OS
Delete the LogicHub client certificate on the following operating systems.
- Mac OS
- Windows
- Linux
Mac OS
Once the certificate is expired, open Keychain on your Mac, scroll to find the Logichub-Client certificate, right-click and click Delete Logichub-Client.
Windows
Once the certificate is expired, navigate to Manage certificates on your browser.
Click on Logichub-Client and click Remove.
Linux
Once the certificate is expired, navigate to Settings > Manage certificates and click on three dots to delete the Logichub-Client certificate.
